MSNBC Recognizes Stone Ward’s Emily Reeves

1 min read

Emily Reeves of Stone Ward was named the grand prize winner of the Grow Your Value Bonus Competition from MSNBC, the latest installment of which was held recently in Chicago and aired on the network.

Reeves is director of innovation and insight planning for the Little Rock ad firm and a 2015 Arkansas Business 40 Under 40 honoree. She recently published a memoir about her brother, a Navy SEAL killed in Afghanistan in 2011. The book, titled “Stay Safe,” started out as a series of letters she wrote her brother after his death as a means of coping with grief. Last month, Reeves recounted the process of writing the book with ArkansasBusiness.com.

Reeves wants to write more and entered the MSNBC contest as a means of helping launch those aspirations. Her grand prize came with a $10,000 check. The competition is designed “to encourage women to explain with clarity and passion why they know their value.”
