Patrick Hundley To Fill VP Role at Arkansas Tech on Interim Basis (Movers & Shakers)

Patrick D. Hundley will serve as interim vice president for development at Arkansas Tech University at Russellville, succeeding Jayne Jones, who has accepted a new role as coordinator of special projects for the institution. Hundley was vice chancellor for university relations at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville from 2008-14. Susie Nicholson, vice president for student services and university relations at Arkansas Tech, will chair the search committee charged with finding a permanent vice president for development.


Ruth E. Walton is the new director of career services at University of the Ozarks in Clarksville. She previously served as a consultant for Real World Consulting, an organizational effectiveness, HR management and university relations firm in Maplewood, New Jersey.


Dean Lee of Hot Springs Village has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock as the executive director of alumni and constituent relations in the Division of Institutional Advancement. Lee most recently worked for Arkansas State University at Jonesboro as associate vice chancellor for advancement and, before that, as athletic director.


Laura Fine, associate director of the Arkansas Small Business & Technology Development Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s College of Business, has been appointed to the operations committee for America’s SBDC, the national association of small business development centers.
