1 min read

Quantum Ventures of Auburn Hills, Michigan, has consolidated its plastics processing companies, including River Bend Industries in Fort Smith, under the Quantum Plastics name.

The Fort Smith facility does injection and blow molding with injection molding capabilities including gas assist molding, insert molding and decorating. It employs 115 workers.

“We found a need for consolidation in the plastics manufacturing arena,” said Quantum Ventures Founder, Chairman and CEO Robert Skandalaris in a news release. “There are a limited number of molders who offer a variety of processes while also spanning multiple industries.”

Quantum Plastics also operates facilities in Illinois and Iowa. It makes parts for the appliance, automotive, packaging, consumer, industrial and recreational and utility vehicle industries.

The company named Morris Rowlett its CEO, River Bend founder Ron Embree its COO and president and Lisa Fiorenza its CFO.
