Windstream to Build Tennessee Data Center

1 min read

Windstream Corp. of Little Rock said Monday that its Hosted Solutions division is building another data center, this time in Nashville, Tenn.

According to a news release, Windstream is opening the 21,000-SF facility to answer increased demand for managed data services among its clients.

It will open in 2013.

“Our customers demand a superior level of services and reliability, and these new data centers, like all of Windstream’s facilities, are designed to exceed their expectations,” Kip Turco, Windstream’s senior vice president of data center operations, said in the release.

The news comes shortly after Windstream announced the completion of a 65,000-SF data center in McLean, Va.

Earlier this year, Windstream opened a 35,000-SF center in west Little Rock.
