1 min read

Windstream Corp. of Little Rock announced Monday it would build another data center, this time in Durham, N.C.

According to a news release, the 22,000-SF facility is scheduled to open in 2013. Windstream already has two data centers in the Raleigh-Durham area.

Windstream has announced two other data centers in recent months, including one it completed in McLean, Va., and another that’s being built in Nashville, Tenn.

The company opened a data center in Little Rock earlier this year.

“The Raleigh-Durham market is a critical area of growth for Windstream, and our new Durham data center will provide customers with the highest level of services and reliability,” Kip Turco, Windstream’s senior vice president of data center operations, said in the release.
