1 min read

University of Arkansas defensive line coach Charlie Partridge will earn $350,000 annually, according to a letter of agreement released by the athletic department.

Partridge, whose deal runs Jan. 2 until June 30, 2014, will join the Razorback staff after finishing the season with Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl. He previously worked with the Badgers under new UA coach Bret Bielema.

Arkansas will also provide Partridge with a vehicle, a golf or fitness club membership, four tickets to football games and two tickets to other sports, moving expenses and three months of temporary housing.

Partridge would owe the school $50,000 if he leaves before his term of employment expires. Arkansas has built buyout clauses into all of its employment agreement with staff. So far Bielema has added offensive coordinator Jim Chaney ($550,000), offensive line coach Sam Pittman ($275,000) and defensive coordinator Chris Ash ($550,000).

Ash is interviewing for the Wisconsin head coaching vacancy, according to reports.

Bielema also announced on-campus recruiting coordinator Chris Hauser and director of football operations Mark Taurisani will join the staff.
