Windstream Opens Data Center in D.C. Area

1 min read

LITTLE ROCK — Little Rock-based Windstream Corp. is opening a new data center in the Washington, D.C., area.

The company said Thursday that the 65,000-square-foot center will provide cloud computing and dedicated managed services.

Windstream, a traditional phone company that also provides television and broadband services, has been working to expand in the data services sector.

Windstream offers an array of services that enable businesses to have access to their servers, applications and data around the clock. As with Windstream’s other centers, the McLean, Va., site has redundant capabilities, which the company stresses in its marketing.
