Tailor-made job: Chancellor Paul B. Beran said Morrison's background, including 15 years as a field auditor for the Arkansas Division of Legislative Audit before joining SAU as controller in 2000, made him a "perfect fit" for the UAFS senior staff.
Similar responsibilities: Just as he has done at SAU, Morrison will be responsible for overseeing UAFS' financial operations, including budget, finance, procurement services and payroll, as well as the contractual operations of the bookstore and the university's dining services.
Educational background: Morrison has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Henderson State University at Arkadelphia and an MBA from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is second vice president of the Southern Association of College & University Business Officers and president of the Arkansas Association of College & University Business Officers.
