Movers & Shakers (April 4, 2011)

Accounting
David Hollis, Dharti Patel, Jordan Binkley, Kristen Welk, Ashley Walker, Frances Moore, Chelsea Engel, Chad Graham, Cody Matthews, Ben Woods, Veronika Kryzhanovska and Renee Mayer have joined BKD LLP as staff accountants in the Little Rock office. Kristen Boyd and Tim Klassen are the newest staff accountants at the Rogers office, and Rebecca Stout is the new staff accountant for the Fort Smith office.

Lindsey Baker has been promoted to audit manager with EGP PLLC Certified Public Accountants & Consultants. Candice Abele, senior auditor, recently passed the CPA exam. Baker and Abele both work in the North Little Rock office. Todd Brown has been promoted to manager of the Heber Springs location, and Marcia Rhodes has joined the tax services team in Bryant.

Construction
Kyle Peacock is the new business project manager with Chenal Restoration in Little Rock, a member company of Disaster Kleenup International LLC. He has more than 10 years of experience in construction management.

Education
Douglas L. Murphy is the new dean of the College of Health Related Professions at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He previously served as interim dean of the School of Health Professions at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Randall Wight has been named dean of Ouachita Baptist University's W.H. Sutton School of Social Sciences in Arkadelphia. Wight is a professor of psychology and biology and has served as chair of the department of psychology since 2003.

Sancy Faulk has been named vice president for advancement at Central Baptist College in Conway. Faulk previously was the vice president for student services.

Financial Services
David Johnston has been appointed to the board of directors of Simmons First Bank of Searcy. Johnston is the owner of Ag Chem Direct Inc. and Lake Ice Co., both in Searcy.

Rees Jones has been promoted to vice president at Simmons First Bank of Searcy. Jones was a commercial loan officer. Brandy West has also been promoted to vice president. West was a consumer loan officer.

Scott Pittillo has been promoted to executive vice president and chief financial officer of Pine Bluff National Bank. Leslie Beatty has been promoted to assistant compliance officer. Jeremy Lambert has been promoted to assistant vice president of commercial lending, and Margie Knight has been promoted to assistant vice president of human resources.

Tyler E. Davis has been promoted to Ashdown region president of First National Bank. Davis will oversee the operations of four locations in Ashdown, Foreman (both in Little River County) and Texarkana.

Christi Wells has been promoted to central region sales manager for the community association banking division of Mutual of Omaha Bank, headquartered in Omaha, Neb. Based in Dallas, Wells will oversee operations in her region, which includes Arkansas.

Insurance
Dr. Stephen Sorsby has been named medical director at QualChoice Holdings Inc. in Little Rock. Sorsby has more than 28 years of experience as a physician and previously was the regional medical director of U.S. HealthWorks Medical Group of Washington.

Manufacturing
Chris Hart has been promoted to vice president of personnel and community relations at Central Moloney Inc. in Pine Bluff. Hart has been with the company since 2002, most recently serving as director of human resources. Joey Strode has been promoted to vice president of finance. Strode has been with the company since 2007, most recently serving as controller.

Nonprofit
Greg Russell is the new director of marketing for Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter in Bentonville. Russell has more than 16 years of experience in marketing for nonprofits.

Bryan Massey has been chosen by the University of Arkansas Public Art Oversight Committee in Fayetteville to complete its first public art project, a monument to Silas Hunt. Massey is a professor of art at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.

Technology
Carla McCorkle has been promoted to client services manager at American Data Network in Little Rock. McCorkel has been a client services specialist for the past five years. Nancy Cole also joins the company as a quality data specialist. Cole previously worked at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff as a quality data abstractor.

Collins Andrews has been appointed to the board of directors of Lindsey Software Systems in North Little Rock. Andrews has more than 40 years of leadership and management experience in the software and technology fields.
