Mike Selig, a veteran chef and restaurateur in Little Rock, has joined Forty Two, the on-site restaurant and caterer at the Clinton Presidential Library, as director of food and beverage.
Selig was the owner and chef of the Vermillion Water Grille in the River Market District, which he closed in April. Vermillion Water Grille was a previous winner of the Best Restaurant for a Business Lunch. He has worked in the food and catering business for more than 30 years.
"Mike is so talented," said Stephanie S. Streett, executive director of the William J. Clinton Foundation, "With his combination of experience and enthusiasm, he is the perfect fit for Forty Two. We are lucky that we have world-class talent right here in Little Rock, we didn¹t have to look far to find the best."
The new menu at Forty Two features an assortment of the restaurant's most popular favorites as well as new lunch-time dishes such zesty black bean soup, hearty patty melts and savory Cuban sandwiches.
Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday. On Sunday the restaurant offers a brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
