Nutt to Speak at Arkansas Trucking Conference

Embattled University of Arkansas football coach Houston Nutt will speak Thursday at the Arkansas Trucking Association's annual business meeting at The Peabody Little Rock.
The ATA marks its 75th year representing the trucking industry in Arkansas this year. Nutt is one of several speakers and panelists scheduled for the event.
The two-day conference begins Thursday. Nutt's speech is set for 1 p.m. in the Peabody's Salon A. The ATA said Nutt will share his insights on the "state of the Razorback nation" and "how he is tackling the pressure and controversy that has surrounded the program."
Other speakers include John Paul DeJoria, co-founder and CEO of Paul Mitchell Systems, an international company that sells hair and skin products to more than 90,000 salons around the world; Bob Weaver, president and CEO of P.A.M. Transportation Services Inc. of Tontitown; and Ralph Bradbury, president of Continental Express of Little Rock. Country music singer Mark Chesnutt is also scheduled to perform.
