Cooper to Open New Subdivision in Little Rock

Cooper Land Development of Rogers said Wednesday that it plans to build its first subdivision in Little Rock.

Sienna Lake, a single-family residential subdivision in the Otter Creek area of Little Rock, will span 360 acres and include about 600 single-family homes and a community recreation center near a 16-acre lake on the property.

Construction is scheduled to begin next month on the property, which is west of Interstate 430 and northwest of the Otter Creek area.

Arkansasbusiness.com first reported news of the project in June when it was referred to as Grandwood.

Cooper Land Development also developed Hot Springs Village and Bella Vista Village. Re/Max Properties will sell and market Sienna Lake, the company said.

Cooper Land Development is part of Cooper Communities Inc., which is developing projects in eight states, including timeshare resorts and planned communities. It owns and manages more than 3.5 million SF of commercial property.
