Bob Robbins, the longtime staple at the top of central Arkansas radio on KSSN-FM, 95.7, finished second in at least two demographics behind "The Show With No Name" on KABZ-FM, 103.7, The Buzz.
The morning show features another Arkansas radio staple, Tommy Smith, alongside David Bazzel and Ark-ansas Democrat-Gazette Sports Editor Wally Hall and airs from 6-10 a.m. weekdays.
"The Show With No Name" leads the morning drive time slot among men ages 25-54 and overall in the adult 25-54 category.
KABZ switched to an all-sports format just more than a year ago when Smith, the former morning host on KMJX-FM, Magic 105.1, and Bazzel, a former Arkansas Razorbacks football player, returned to the morning airwaves billing themselves as "The Odd Couple."
There's more good ratings news for The Buzz in the afternoon as well, as "Drivetime Sports," hosted by Randy Rainwater and company, is the most listened-to station during the afternoon drive peak of 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. and remained No. 1 with men 25-54.
