BancorpSouth Bank of Tupelo, Miss., has announced the election of four new members to its board of directors.
The board of directors of the bank, which operates 240 banking and mortgage locations in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas, added, among others, Tommy Hillman, president of Winrock Farms Inc., of Stuttgart.
Hillman serves as chairman of the board and a director of Riceland Foods, president of Tommy Hillman Farms, president of Hillman Ag Development, and a director of Winrock Group Inc. He also serves on the advisory boards of Entergy of Arkansas and BancorpSouth in Stuttgart and the board council of Nationwide Insurance Inc.
BancorpSouth also added Jeffrey B. Barber, president and CEO of North Mississippi Health Services Inc. of Tupelo, Miss.; William L. "Billy" Crews, president and CEO of Journal Publishing Company of Tupelo, Miss.; and Guy W. Mitchell III, president and attorney-at-law, Mitchell McNutt & Sams P.A., also of Tupelo, Miss., to its board.
