Capital Business Machines, the 61-year-old Little Rock office products company, has changed hands.
Brett Rogers purchased the company on Nov. 1 from Mike McWilliams, whose family had owned the company since 1939. Terms of the deal aren't being disclosed.
Rogers' family used to own its own local office supply company, City Business Machines, which was bought about four years ago by Ikon Office Solutions.
After getting a taste of big corporate life, Rogers said he was ready to back to the small business atmosphere.
"I wanted to jump back in the saddle," he said.
City Business Machines has about 17 employees and supplies office equipment like copiers, fax machines and some computer systems, an area the company plans to focus on more in the future, Rogers said.
