Doug Lynch Becomes Chief Lending Officer of Citizens Bank (Super Mover)

Background: Doug Lynch earned a bachelor's degree in finance in 1990 from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and in 1997 graduated from the Southwest Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Five years later at the age of 38, he was named one of Northwest Arkansas Business Journal's 40 Under 40. Lynch has served in the community through the United Way as the allocation committee campaign chairperson and the Rotary Club of Fayetteville's fundraising chairperson and on the boards of directors of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Freedom5:one Ministries and the American Heart Association in Fort Smith.

Experience: Lynch has more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry, including serving as the Arkansas regional president for Delta Trust & Bank from 2008-11 in Fayetteville and president of the Fayetteville and Springdale markets for Liberty Bank of Arkansas from 2004-08. Just before the move to his new position, he spent about a year as regional president at First Community Bank of Batesville.

New Position: As executive vice president and chief lending officer at Citizens Bank, headquartered in Batesville, Lynch is responsible for overseeing the bank's credit portfolio and managing the profitability of its loan portfolio.
