Kudos: Arkansas Businesses Achieve Recognition

  • Acxiom Corp. of Little Rock announced that its Brazilian operation had received the 2012 Top of Business International Award from Top of Business, a Brazilian business magazine, for its contributions to the social and economic growth of Brazil and South America. Acxiom Brazil has been offering marketing services and technology in the region for two years. "We are thrilled to receive this award," said Jeff Standridge, Acxiom vice president of Global Client Services in Brazil and Latin America. "Being selected by clients and other key players in the industry is a strong validation to our efforts to excel in Brazil, delivering the same level of quality that we offer our clients around the world."
  • USA Truck Inc. of Van Buren has received the Truckload Carrier of the Year for highest volume award from Anheuser-Busch. USA Truck transported more than 22,000 loads nationwide for the company in 2011. "USA Truck is always very proud to receive recognition from our customers," said Jaimey Malone, vice president of sales for USA Truck. "We appreciate the partnership we have with Anheuser-Busch, and we are thankful for this recognition of the customer service we provide."
  • Stephens Inc. of Little Rock was ranked second in the nation for Most Productive Brokers of 2011 at the annual Financial Times/StarMine Analyst Awards. The ranking is based on the highest number of individual award-winning analysts at a firm in relation to the number of qualified analysts. Stephens' analysts took 12 awards, including four first-place wins.
  • Allegra Print & Imaging of Arkansas in Little Rock and Art Advertising Inc. of Jonesboro have been named two of the top 100 commercial printers in the nation for 2012 by Quick Printing magazine. Based on sales in 2011, Allegra ranked 72 on the list with $2.95 million and Art Advertising ranked 78 with $2.82 million.
