AIA Arkansas thanks the 2012 AIA Award judges, all hailing from Michigan:

James L. Luckley, AIA, LEED AP, is the director of design and a principal at SHW Group. His responsibilities include evolving the nation’s third-largest education firm into a design culture, fostering design at all levels, critiquing all projects, mentoring the firm’s design architects, standardizing design processes and establishing design metrics.

William E. Massie is a principal architect with Massie Architecture in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and architect-in-residence and head of the architecture department at Cranbrook Academy of Art, also in Bloomfield Hills.

Paul Urbanek, FAIA, LEED AP, has more than 30 years of architectural design experience. A true design leader, Urbanek’s passion for architecture is reflected in his creative, problem-solving process that has inspired fresh viewpoints and new concepts for functionally appropriate and aesthetically exciting design solutions.
