Seventeen organizations from across the state were presented Arkansas Governor's Quality Awards by Gov. Mike Beebe Monday night.
The 18th Annual Awards Celebration for the Governor's Quality Award Program was held at the Peabody Little Rock. The program recognizes organizations for engaging in continuous quality improvement that leads to performance excellence, according to a news release.
White County Medical Center of Searcy took top honors with the Governor's Award for Performance Excellence.
The Achievement Level Award was presented to: Drew Memorial Hospital, Monticello; Freight Systems, Inc., North Little Rock; Professional Education Center, North Little Rock, and Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks, Fayetteville.
Organizations receiving the Commitment Level Award were: Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care, Little Rock; DD&F Consulting Group, Little Rock; Mainstream Technologies, Little Rock, and North Hills Life Care and Rehab, Fayetteville.
Organizations receiving the Challenge Level Award were: Cave City Nursing Home, Cave City; Community Development Institute-Central (CDI), Conway; Community Medical Center of Izard County, Calico Rock; Cones Family Medicine Clinic, Little Rock; Gardner Nursing Center, Star City; Heritage Living Nursing Center, Conway; Manila Nursing Center, Manila, and Division of Outreach and Community Engagement, University of Central Arkansas, Conway.
