Tom Leonard Named Managing Partner at PwC LLP (Super Mover)

Tom Leonard: Managing partner at PwC LLP's Little Rock office.

Background: Tom Leonard graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting from La Salle University in Philadelphia in 1996. In 2009, he received the university's annual Michael A. DeAngelis Award, which is given to distinguished alumni for outstanding professional achievements in accounting. In 2010, Leonard was named to the Arkansas Business 40 Under 40.

Experience: A 16-year veteran of PwC (formerly PricewaterhouseCoopers), Leonard joined the firm just after college, working with clients out of the Philadelphia and Florham Park, N.J., offices, advising them on mergers, debt offerings, annual audits and quarterly reviews, among other topics. He transferred to the Little Rock office for the first time in 2002-04. After three years in Pennsylvania, he returned to the Little Rock office, where he became a partner in 2008.

New Position: In his new role as managing partner of the Little Rock office, Leonard replaces Pierre-Alain Sur, who relocated to New York. "PwC is committed to delivering high-quality service to assist our clients," Leonard said in a news release. "I am pleased to be leading a group of professionals who exemplify the PwC values each and every day and proud to call Little Rock my home. PwC has a great story to tell and I am excited to continue our legacy in Little Rock."
