What makes a meeting memorable?
A productive get-together doesn’t have to remain strictly in the meeting room or end at the close of the business day. Often the time before, after and in between the official, scheduled events can leave the biggest impression.
Also, carefully chosen themes, locations and activities can underscore a meeting’s message, build relationships and keep attendees thinking about what they’ve seen and learned long after they return to their normal work schedules.
In this edition of Arkansas Business Meeting Planner we’ll look beyond the tried and true outings to find ideas for creative gatherings that can entertain attendees and strengthen a meeting’s overall impact.
For meeting planners on a tight budget, we share low-cost, high-yield ways civic organizations are getting their message out. More than ever, that trusty smart phone and social media are playing a role in finding out what meeting planners want and getting it to them.
And once a meeting is in session there is nothing like an entertaining speaker with a strong message to make it a success. We’ve spoken with experts and will share the ins and outs of finding that “super speaker” who can wow the crowd with a relatable topic.
As always in this guide we’re bringing you comprehensive listings on the state’s meeting facilities, as well as caterers and also activities for the state’s different geographic regions.
