Home BancShares Inc. of Conway on Wednesday announced a quarterly dividend of 13 cents per share.

The company's board of directors declared the cash dividend, which reflects a nickel per share boost, payable on Dec. 5 to shareholders of record Nov. 14.

The dividend represents a 62.5 percent increase its quarterly dividend of 8 cents per share paid during the fourth quarter of 2011.

Home BancShares is the parent company of Centennial Bank, which operates branches in Arkansas, Florida and Alabama.
