Amy Adair, Jimmy Behel, Reet Cronk and Cheri Smith have received promotions at Harding University in Searcy. Adair was named director of professional experience; Behel, chair of business graduate studies; Cronk, chair of management information systems; and Smith, director of teacher education.
Janet Lanza has received the Distinguished Service Citation from the Ecological Society of America. Lanza, a professor of biology at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, has been book review editor of the society's journal Ecology for 20 years.

Scott Street was elected as at-large delegate to the Arkansas Hospital Association board of directors. Street has served as president of Mercy Northwest Arkansas since 2010.
