A new restaurant is opening at 1505 W. Dixon Road in Little Rock.
It’s called the Dixon Road Blues Cafe, and owner Paul Evans is planning to open the restaurant and bar by Thanksgiving.
Evans owns the freshly renovated 3,000-SF building that seats about 99 people. The restaurant will serve breakfast all day and foods like deep fried chicken, fried catfish, pork chops, grilled tilapia and steak, according to bar manager Brenda Tharp.
The cafe will feature live blues music on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and gospel singers during Sunday morning brunches.
Evans owns the Evans Motors used car lot in Sherwood. His past restaurant experience includes owning the former On Broadway Cafe in Little Rock.
