Steve Howard and Jeromy Howard of Oklahoma City were scheduled to open a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant at 11 a.m. Sunday in Sherwood, according to district manager Tarissa Bates.
The father-son team owns 19 franchised Buffalo Wild Wings locations, including the new restaurant near Hank’s Fine Furniture in Sherwood and restaurants in Conway, Little Rock and Fort Smith. The Howards’ other locations are in Oklahoma and Texas.
The Howards’ Buffalo Wild Wings at 14800 Cantrell Road in Little Rock had total food sales of $2.07 million in 2011 and $1.09 million in food sales during the first six months of 2012.
The ownership team hopes to open another B-Dubs, as the regulars call Buffalo Wild Wings, within the next 18 months in Jonesboro.
The Sherwood store will employ about 175 part-time staffers. The $2.5 million facility at 4600 Silver Creek Drive is new construction, seats 450 diners and is 7,500 SF.
