The Washington Post today ponders the political fate of Arkansas Attorney General Dustin McDaniel in light of his admission yesterday to an inappropriate relationship with Hot Springs lawyer Andrea Davis.
The situation has already been classified as at least a "major setback" for Democrats. But what about McDaniel's personal political career? Sean Sullivan says his survival depends on variables including whether the relevation encourages more Democrats to enter the race and how this affects McDaniel's future fundraising. He already has at least $1 million in the bank. Will future collections slow?
