Did you hear? A former Blockbuster video store and ex-Los Amigos restaurant on Prince Street in Conway are being made over as new restaurants courtesy of Little Rock businessman Steve Im.
Kobe of Conway, a Japanese steakhouse and sushi place, is going into the old Blockbuster, according to Kobe manager Joseph Park. And the old Los Amigos will become Mamacita, which Park called a “higher-class Mexican restaurant.” Both buildings are getting renovations.
Im is aiming to open both during the first week of January, Park said. Both restaurant spaces are about 5,000 SF and will feature full bars, he said. Kobe should seat about 120 diners and Mamacita about 85.
