LITTLE ROCK — Gov. Mike Beebe is announcing his intent to grant pardons to five people who have completed their sentences for various crimes.
The governor's office said in a news release Monday that each person has completed all jail time, any parole or probationary requirements and paid all fines related to their sentences.
The five are William Donahue of Little Rock who was convicted of theft; Jason Holland of Little Rock on drug convictions; Robert Lomax of Osceola for burglary and larceny; David Lee Waits of Fort Smith for assault and resisting arrest; and Herman Warren of Heber Springs on drug convictions.
There is a 30-day waiting period for public comment on the proposed pardons before final action is taken.
