KUAR-FM, 89.1, has named Karen Steward its content development director, according to Ben Fry, station general manager. KUAR is the NPR affiliate operated by the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Steward previously worked part time as KUAR’s Web services manager.

The content development director job is a position KUAR created when restructuring its staff after the departure last spring of longtime Program Director Ron Breeding.
