North Little Rock's Golden Corral, at 5001 Warden Road, once again topped other restaurants in the city, taking in more than $6.6 million, up more than 5 percent from last year. The buffet-style restaurant was also the top revenue-producer of all restaurants in Little Rock and North Little Rock.
In the capital city, HMS Host, which providers restaurant services and concessions for the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport, was the revenue leader, with $4.7 million in revenue, up 8 percent from last year.
All revenue figures for the restaurant lists are based on taxes paid to the cities' advertising and promotion commissions and convention and visitors bureaus. Unlike sales taxes paid by most retailers, those tax records are subject to the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act.
