Little Rock City Website Tracks Storm Cleanup

The city of Little Rock’s website now includes a page tracking progress in cleaning up debris from December’s “winter storm event,” Mayor Mark Stodola said in an email to residents.

The website will be updated every Tuesday until the storm cleanup is complete, which will be well after April 1, according to the website.

As of March 3, a total of 10,690 tons of storm debris has been collected by contractor Ceres Environmental Services of Houston, Texas.

Ceres will make two passes along each street in the city limits to collect storm debris, according to the website. The first pass began Feb. 15 and is expected to continue through about April 1. After that, the second pass will commence.
