Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak To Speak As Part of UA Lecture Series

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak will speak April 7 at Barnhill Arena on the University of Arkansas campus.

Wozniak, who developed the first Apple computer and is listed as a co-founder of the company with Steve Jobs, is part of the UA's distinguished lecture series. He’ll offer “a unique presentation for U of A students” and then participate in a Q&A.

Doors open at 6 p.m. with the program scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Admission is free, but seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Also scheduled to speak as part of the lecture series is Grammy award winning singer/songwriter John Legend. In addition to his music career, Legend has devoted his time and name to promoting education and sustainability and supporting programs that combat povery and the spread of HIV/AIDs.

Legend will speak April 29 at 7 p.m. on those issues and perform four songs.
