Fed Files Claim on Tony Alamo Properties

Perverted preacher Tony Alamo wouldn’t need the property anyway.

The U.S. government filed paperwork in U.S. District Court recently to seize a number of properties that Alamo used to rape girls. The government wants the compound in Fouke, including a house and gym, where he used to run Tony Alamo Christian Ministries. The feds also want two houses in Fort Smith and one in Texarkana.

In 2009, Alamo was convicted of 10 counts of taking underage girls across the state lines for sex. Alamo, whose real name is Bernie Lazar Hoffman, was sentenced to 175 years in federal prison.

The 78-year-old is currently serving his time in an Oklahoma City federal prison.

An FBI affidavit details some of the crimes against the girls and beatings Alamo ordered if his followers didn’t obey him.

The followers, of course, believed that to go against Alamo was to go against “a prophet of God,” an agent said in the filing, so they did what he said.
