CNN medical correspondent Sanjay Gupta will speak at the Clinton Presidential Center on Thursday, June 27, as part of the Frank and Kula Kumpuris Distinguished Lecture Series, the center announced Friday.
Gupta is a practicing neurosurgeon and the multiple Emmy-award winning chief medical correspondent for CNN. He anchors the weekend CNN medical affairs program, "Sanjay Gupta, MD," and plays an integral role in CNN’s health and medical reporting.
His topic at the Clinton Center will be the intersection of media and medicine. The Kumpuris Series is sponsored by the Clinton Foundation, the Clinton School of Public Service and AT&T.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with the lecture scheduled to begin in the center's Great Hall at 6. Seats are free, but must be reserved in advance. To do so, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 501-683-5239.
