Almost 500 people attended the Arkansas Business 40 Under 40 reception and luncheon on June 14 at the Little Rock Marriott at 3 Statehouse Plaza in downtown Little Rock.
The occasion marked the 20th year that Arkansas Business has recognized the state’s top business, nonprofit and political professionals under the age of 40. These 40 honorees, representing locales throughout Arkansas, are leaders in fields that range from entrepreneurship to banking, law, real estate, health care, education and politics, among other endeavors.
The event featured a keynote address by Dale Dawson, the former Stephens Inc. executive who founded Bridge2Rwanda, a nonprofit that tackles the educational, economic and social needs of Rwanda while fostering relationships in Arkansas and the rest of the world.
The presenting sponsor of the event was Bank of the Ozarks of Little Rock. The sponsors were Hudson Cisne & Co. LLP, which also hosted the reception for the 2013 honorees; St. Vincent Health System; The McLarty Companies/RLJ McLarty Landers Automotive; the University of Arkansas at Little Rock; and Westrock Coffee LLC.
