Crye-Leike Names Brenda Rhoads Managing Broker in NLR (Movers & Shakers)

Real Estate

Brenda Rhoads has been promoted to managing broker at Crye-Leike Realtors’ North Little Rock branch office. Rhoads has eight years of experience as a real estate agent, and she is a member of the Crye-Leike Multimillion-Dollar Club.

Dana Yates has been hired as a sales associate for The Property Group in Little Rock. Yates has more than 15 years of experience in sales and management.

Health Care

David R. Fox has been elected to serve a three-year term as president of the Association for Medical Imaging Management. Fox is currently the president of St. Vincent North in Sherwood. He has held leadership positions at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo and Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

Amanda Hatfield has been hired as the director of provider relations for the Children’s Healthcare System Physician-Hospital Organization in Little Rock. Hatfield formerly served as a network contractor for United Healthcare Inc.’s Arkansas and Tennessee provider networks.

Education

Danielle Wood has been appointed the director of the Office of Equal Opportunity & Compliance at the University of Arkansas. Wood has served as the interim co-director of the office since July 2011. She has worked in the Office of Equal Opportunity & Compliance, formerly known as the Office of Affirmative Action, since 2000.

Financial Services

D.J. Wells has been named the president of the First Federal Bank of Harrison’s mortgage loan division in Lowell. Wells has more than 17 years of mortgage lending experience.

Insurance

John Cooke was elected president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Arkansas. Cooke, president of the White River Insurance Agency in Batesville, has previously served on the IIAA Executive Committee and the organization’s board of directors. Mark Smith was elected as the Arkansas representative to the board of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America. Berry Bishop, Matt Cashion and Bill McGhee were elected as IIAA officers.

Jay Reavis has been named vice president of sales and account management for Delta Dental of Arkansas. Reavis, who has more than 10 years of experience with the Delta Dental system, will continue serving as the vice president of sales, account management and underwriting for Delta Dental of Tennessee. He will split his time between the DDA headquarters in Sherwood and the DDT headquarters in Nashville.

Nonprofit

The Rev. Mackey Yokem and Ginny Kurrus were elected to serve on the United Methodist Foundation of Arkansas’ board of directors. Yokem has previously served as the executive director of Camp Aldersgate, director of church relations at Hendrix College and a member of the Arkansas Conference Council on Finance & Administration. Kurrus has 25 years of service as a community volunteer, and she is currently the education director of the U.S. Green Building Council’s Arkansas chapter.

Retail

Scott Carver has been named director of retail execution for Arkansas and Oklahoma at AT&T in Little Rock. Carver has worked at AT&T for nine years. He has previously held numerous leadership positions at SBC Yellow Pages in Austin, Texas.
