Mike Beebe Makes 26 Appointments to Boards, Commissions, Judicial Posts

Gov. Mike Beebe on Wednesday announced the following education appointment:

Diane Zook, Melbourne, to the State Board of Education. Appointment expires June 30, 2020. Replaces Jim Cooper.

Beebe also announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:

Daniel Bryant, North Little Rock, reappointed to the State Board of Barber Examiners. Appointment expires June 30, 2019.

Rhonda Cole, Arkadelphia, reappointed to the State Board of Election Commissioners. Appointment expires May 28, 2017.

Mary Dillard, Farmington, to the Arkansas History Commission. Appointment expires Jan. 14, 2020. Replaces Dorathy Boulden.

Sandra Edwards, North Little Rock, reappointed to the Board of the Division of State Services for the Blind. Appointment expires June 30, 2017.

Timothy Garrison, Eureka Springs, to the Carroll County Quorum Court, District 2. Appointment expires Dec. 31, 2014. Replaces Dan Mamaugh.

Helen Jackson, McGehee, to the Social Work Licensing Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2016. Replaces Betty Roads.

Bill Johnson, Little Rock, to the Board of the Division of State Services for the Blind. Appointment expires June 30, 2017. Replaces Angyln Franquemont.

Arthur Maune, Little Rock, reappointed to the Medical Ionizing Radiation Licensure Board. Appointment expires July 14, 2016.

Georgia Mjartan, Little Rock, reappointed to the Housing Trust Fund Advisory Committee. Appointment expires Oct. 12, 2016.

Patricia Roberts, Prescott, reappointed to the State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors. Appointment expires June 1, 2016.

Weldon Roberts, Paragould, reappointed to the Arkansas State Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Appointment expires June 9, 2018.

Angela Sanders, North Little Rock, reappointed to the Social Work Licensing Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2016.

Terry Sheeler, Fayetteville, to the Board of the Division of State Services for the Blind. Appointment expires June 30, 2017. Replaces Gary Hall.

Phyllis Stinson, Clarendon, reappointed to the Mississippi River Parkway Commission. Appointment expires June 8, 2018.

Diane Thomas, Searcy, reappointed to the DHS State Institutional System Board. Appointment expires June 30, 2020.

C.S. Walker, Sheridan, reappointed to the State Board of Election Commissioners. Appointment expires May 28, 2017.
