Financial adviser Donnie Dietz recently announced that he has joined Stratos Wealth Partners to open an office in Conway, the firm’s first Arkansas office.
Stratos, which is headquartered in Solon, Ohio, provides operational resources and a professional support team for more than 140 independent advisers around the country.
Dietz has partnered with American Safeguard Insurance of Conway to offer clients what he calls a “deeper relationship” with “multiple services that people aren’t used to seeing together.”
The partnership gives clients access to a combination of financial planning services and life, property and casualty insurance.
Dietz and Connie Ballard, Stratos’ client service manager, both left Edward Jones to join Stratos. They share workspace with ASI employees in the American Safeguard Group building at 1100 Bob Courtway Drive.
The 1,000-SF Stratos office occupies about one-fifth of the building, and Dietz said an additional 1,000 SF has been designated for two financial advisers that the firm plans to add in the near future.
Dietz said he currently has a 170-household client base, 90 percent of whom came with him from Edward Jones. He described the transition process between firms as “quick and easy” due to the efforts of a dedicated team of Stratos transition specialists.
Stratos’ Conway office is a launching point for Dietz, who said he hopes to expand the firm’s services to a number of other Arkansas communities and eventually Oklahoma.
