Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores has announced that it will open a store in the Shackleford Crossing Shopping Center in Little Rock on Aug. 30.
Beth Shivak, Jo-Ann’s manager of corporate communications, said the goal of the 14,000-SF store is to offer the Little Rock community a wide variety of craft, sewing, seasonal and home decoration items in a convenient setting.
Shivak said the store will likely be staffed with 25 to 35 part-time employees and five full-time managers. Interviews for eligible positions were conducted at the store last month.
The Shackleford Crossing location will be the retailer’s third store in Arkansas. Jo-Ann has more than 770 stores in 49 states.
A weekend-long grand opening event has been scheduled for Sept. 12-14. For more information on the store, go to YourNewJoAnn.com/LittleRock.
