Arkansas Business is once again holding a Health Care Symposium to take an in-depth look at how Obamacare will affect businesses' bottom lines and employees.
Through panel discussions, the symposium will cover topics including:
- new reporting requirements
- tax implications
- company-offered health care plans versus the exchange
- costs to business
"While the government is mandating these monumental changes that affect businesses' bottom lines, they aren’t providing them with all of the necessary information to facilitate their choice," Mitch Bettis, Arkansas Business publisher, said. "That is why the Health Care Symposium is so important. It is a crash course on what the options are and how they will affect our state's businesses."
The 2013 Arkansas Business Health Care Symposium will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21 at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock.
Tickets are available for $60 each and can be purchased at ArkansasBusiness.com/HealthCare.
The symposium is sponsored by Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, BKD, CGI, Kutak Rock LLP, Regions Insurance, Inc., and St. Vincent Health System.
