Florence & Hutcheson Inc., a regional engineering services firm with an office in Little Rock, will now be known as Infrastructure Corp. of America Engineering Inc., marking the final step of Infrastructure Corp. of America’s 2010 acquisition of the company.
ICA of Nashville, Tenn., maintains public transportation infrastructure that includes roads, bridges, tollways, rest areas and welcome centers.
Butch Eley, chief executive officer of ICA, said in a news release that the combined entity is able to take a holistic approach to its projects.
“Over the past three years, F&H and ICA have merged services, ideas and cultures to create an integrated company able to provide complete infrastructure services,” Eley said.
James Barr, ICA Engineering’s Arkansas regional manager, said the new name is the only significant change that has taken place at the Little Rock office since the acquisition began.
Barr said his office has recently been working for the Arkansas Highway & Transportation Department on infrastructure projects in and around Texarkana, Forrest City, Marion and Jacksonville.
The Florence & Hutcheson location at 320 Executive Court, Suite 100, was founded 10 years ago and currently employs seven people.
