Organizations from the delta regions of Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi will meet in Lake Village Thursday to discuss ways to improve health care.
Representatives from the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care and the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement will be at the inaugural Delta Health Initiatives Program conference, which will be held at the Lake Village Expo Center.
"This conference will provide organizations from around the Delta with the opportunity to find out who else is out there and what they are doing," Ray Hanley, president and CEO of the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care, said in a news release. "Our hope in bringing these organizations together is that they can find new ways to work together and strengthen their efforts to impact their communities and improve the health of all Delta residents."
Seating for the conference, which is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., is limited. For more information or to attend the conference, email Cathy Bain at email@example.com.
