St. Louis Fed President James Bullard to Speak at Quarterly Analysis Conference

The Center for Business and Economic Research in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas said Thursday that James Bullard, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, will speak at its Quarterly Business Analysis program in November.

Bullard is scheduled to discuss recent economic trends from his view at the Federal Reserve and as a member of the Federal Open Market Committee. The session will include a presentation on economic trends and projections by Kathy Deck, director of the Center for Business and Economic Research.

The event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center in Rogers.

Bullard became president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis in 2008. In these roles, he participates in the Federal Open Market Committee and directs the activities of the Federal Reserve’s Eighth District head office in St. Louis and branches in Little Rock; Louisville, Ky., and Memphis, Tenn.
