The board of Rector Phillips Morse Inc. has elected Kris Upton president of the real estate company. “We are excited to announce Kris’s promotion to president,” said Pete Hornibrook, chairman and CEO of RPM. “His experience in finance and strategic planning, management of the company’s investment portfolio, as well as management of day-to-day operations supporting the work of our individual divisions, has prepared him to help guide the performance and growth of our company.”
Upton, who has been with RPM since 2003, is a CPA, Certified Commercial Investment Member and a Realtor. He has served as treasurer, chief financial officer and chief operating officer of RPM. Upton graduated in 1993 from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in accounting. He previously worked at Frost & Co. and Alltel Inc.
In addition to Upton’s promotion to president of parent company RPM, the board elected Robin Miller and Rick Freeling as senior vice presidents. Miller will continue to serve as president of Coldwell Banker-RPM, RPM’s residential real estate division, and Freeling will continue to serve as director of commercial sales in RPM’s commercial division.
