OMMA magazine of New York City announced last week that it had named Rockfish of Rogers its 2013 agency of the year for design.
“We are incredibly proud of the honor of receiving this title, which we also held in 2010,” Rockfish said in a statement.
Rockfish will accept the award officially at an event in New York City in January.
OMMA is a monthly magazine covering online media, marketing and advertising.
Rockfish received other recognitions recently.
In October, the company’s Media Multiplyer product was named a finalist in The Internationalist’s awards for innovative digital solutions. In November, the product was given “Gold” status in the awards, alongside companies like Canon, Microsoft and Pepsi.
Media Multiplyer is a spinoff of a digital couponing platform that allows customers to share deals and offers through social media services.
“This technology is innovative in the way it drives accountability — changing the way marketers think about media,” the award description says. “Pixel-tracking technology allows advertisers to track upstream data, downstream data and even the device through which the consumer accessed the ad.”
Finally, Rockfish received eight honors in the 2013 MarCom Awards, an international competition administered by the Association of Marketing & Communication Professionals. The awards recognize public relations, Web design, mobile development and video efforts.
Rockfish received a platinum award, the highest honor in the MarCom Awards, for writing and marketing material associated with its blog.
Other recognition from the MarCom Awards included a platinum award for a Cincinnati USA Partnership for Economic Development website; gold awards for Rockfish’s newsletter, Upstream, a video series produced for The Nutro Co. and mobile apps for Sam’s Club; and an honorable mention for a Banfield State of Pet Health 2013 website.
