Toxicological Center Expands Ownership

The owners of the Center for Toxicology & Environmental Health in North Little Rock recently announced that they have signed an agreement to expand the number of principals at the company.

Founded in 1997 by scientists at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences business incubator, CTEH now employs more than 120 full-time personnel in nine states and another 100 part-time staffers. The new employee ownership plan will allow about 100 employees to share in the company’s profits, with the opportunity for additional participation in the future.

“We are pleased with this decision,” said Glenn Millner, co-founder and principal toxicologist. “This will accelerate the growth and success of CTEH by helping to retain and recruit the best talent in the industry.”

The current owners are Millner, Phil Goad, Alan Nye, Ted Snider and Cory Davis. The present leadership structure will remain in place. Snider will continue as president and chief executive officer and Davis will continue as vice president. All owners plan to remain involved in the business.
