Kenneth R. Camp of Jonesboro, a former lobbyist for the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce, died Dec. 3 at the St. Bernards Medical Center. He was 75.
Camp, who worked under former chamber President and CEO Bob Lamb, had also worked as a teacher, principal and superintendent for Brookland Public Schools. He served two terms the state House of Representatives. And he owned operated IMPAC, Computer Utilities, Spectrum Teltronics, and Falco.
Camp's funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Burial will be at 12:30 P.M. at Woodland Heights in Rector.
Camp was born in Osceola on April 11, 1938 to the late John and Gertrude Camp. He grew up in Rector but lived in Jonesboro for 45 years.
