Mitchell Williams Selig Gates & Woodyard PLLC of Little Rock said Wednesday that it has opened a new office at 100 East Huntington in Jonesboro.
The firm said the new office will offer "general, business-related legal services" and provide legal advice in areas including taxes, estate planning, banking, employment, immigration, health care, governmental relations, medical malpractice defense, and real estate transactions.
"Our new Jonesboro office will allow us to serve the needs of the growing northeast Arkansas community," said Rick Beard, Mitchell Williams' managing director. "We have many ties to Jonesboro, including several attorneys who are Jonesboro natives, and a growing client base in the area."
The firm said Lance Miller, located in Little Rock where he manages the firm's litigation practice group, will oversee operations of the new office and be the liaison between Jonesboro and Little Rock. Brad Shumpert and Mary Catherine Way will staff the Jonesboro office.
Mitchell Williams also has offices in Rogers and Austin, Texas.
