Matt Hicks was recently promoted to market president of Centennial Bank in Rogers and Bentonville. “Matt is very involved in the community and his leadership skills will help further build upon our reputation for strength and service,” said Scott Hancock, Centennial Bank Division president.
Holding a Master of Business Administration degree from Harding University in Searcy and a Bachelor of Science degree from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Hicks began his banking career in 2004 with Liberty Bank of Arkansas in Jonesboro. After relocating to northwest Arkansas in 2006 with Liberty, Hicks worked in branches throughout the area, including Siloam Springs and Jonesboro, and stayed on with Centennial Bank after it bought Liberty last year.
Most recently, he served as a vice president of lending in the Bentonville and Rogers markets. Hicks’ time in the northwest part of the state has also been marked by community service. He is a past chair of United Way Generation: Give and a current board member and treasurer of the Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas.
