After 33 years with Arkansas Best Corp. of Fort Smith, senior vice president of enterprise customer solutions Jim Keenan will retire March 31.
Keenan joined Arkansas Best in 1981 after its largest subsidiary, ABF Freight, acquired East Texas Motor Freight. In his time with the company, Keenan has served in pricing, sales and marketing. His current role was created to allow him to coordinate the supply chain services across ABF Freight and other Arkansas Best subsidiaries ABF Logistics and Panther Expedited Services.
"Jim's many years of service at ABF Freight, in the areas of sales and pricing, contributed to the development of our sales approach and to the unique tools that allow our company to be a leader in the transportation industry," Judy McReynolds, Arkansas Best president and CEO, said in a news release. "He has been a valuable resource for our company and a dedicated employee."
